Chrissy Lake began her early training at Motion Express, and has a total of 25 years of training and performance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, cheer and pom. Although Chrissy has trained extensively in multiple genres, her specialty lies in tumbling and acrobatic gymnastics. She has spent the last 15 years traveling all over the Midwest as a private coach, masters class instructor, choreographer.

As a performer, Chrissy has auditioned for “Cirque Du Soleil” and performed in the Chicago based professional acrobatic and modern company “Ameba.” As a teacher, Chrissy has had a tremendous amount of success in the competition industry, and is well known for her exciting and unique Acro choreography that often leaves both the judges and audience on the edge of their seats. Throughout the years, Chrissy’s students have been invited to audition for multiple seasons of “America’s Got Talent,” “Kids Roc” and most recently, Jennifer Lopez’s smash hit show “World of Dance.”

Each season, Chrissy’s choreography earns her multiple outstanding choreography plaques, judges’ choice awards, and overall placements. In 2016, Chrissy and her students traveled to New York City, and are the reigning Worlds Champions for their incredible routine “X-Treme.”

In 2018, her dancers, walked away with 13 National titles at the Masquerade Competition held in Destin, Florida. Although Chrissy loves all aspects of her career, watching her students reach their goals is where her passion lies. Chrissy continues to train young dancers of all ages and inspires them to reach for the stars, and because of her amazing leadership her students have learned that dreams, no matter how big, are possible with hard work and dedication.
